Tribute to Jim Emsley

I started as a lecturer in the Department the same year as Jim,1967, and for the thirteen years we overlapped until I moved to London really appreciated Jim as a wonderful colleague and excellent scientist I have never forgotten the productive atmosphere and collegiality of the Department in those years of expansion and Jim typified this. He will surely be missed
